Same girl that liked to post all sorts of stuff about weed being 100% harmless and not addictive and so on only a year ago.

Wrong.

Anything can be psychologically addictive. When people say weed isn't addictive they mean in the chemical/physical dependency sense, like with nicotine, opiates, etc..

Also, if anything becomes your very identity, you definitely have other issues and need to get your life in order.

When people say it isn't addictive, they mean it isn't chemically addictive like nicotine in tobacco is for example.
You can build a psychological dependence on pretty much anything.

Then why don't they say that?

I do it daily for legitimate medical reasons, and I'm super discreet about it. I don't do it around anyone. I do it when I wake up usually, the lasting non-psychoactive benefits are what I need most. They work in conjunction with my prescription medication to make me a normal functioning adult, and I don't mean when I'm still intoxicated.

Only my family and closest friends know about it and they love that I do it because they saw how I was before I got my card a year ago.

Problem is some people don't understand that distinction at all and become full time stoners just like this girl, thinking they're not doing themselves any harm at all.

It's fine to be a daily user, so long as it's not all you are/doesn't take over your life.

all i feel is empathy, not cringe. and im not a sappy type
seems she realize she has a problem and is announcing it out to the world to 'up the ante'

everyone knows she doesnt want to smoke weed anymore, and if she starts going back to smoking weed, she is breaking her word. some people feel like they cant get over their addictions alone, and believe that social pressure will help them stop
