The people who complain about being under 200 can fuck off. I've wanted to kill myself for years over my weight. I'd give anything to be under 200.

I don't LOOK that much bigger, at least not to myself, but the numbers don't lie

This is exactly me. I'm about 200, about a year ago I was about 170, I don't think I look any bigger.

Graduating from college at 21, I was around 90lbs. Started working out, and I hit 130lbs at my peak.

I have gradually lost most of that weight throughout these past two years from not working out. I haven't checked a scale all this time. I should really get back to the gym.

I've always been lean but lately I'm starting to feel my gut pop up a little.

Height: 5'10

Current: 76kg (167lb)

Heaviest - 165
Lightest - 125

I've been stuck at 160, and it's hard to get itdown despite going on a diet and improving my eating habits... and what sucks is that I have a semi-injured left calf, so if I do go running, it has to REALLY slow (plus stopping from time to time). Thus, it would take an INSANE amount of time to lower my weight through running....

Oh, that's right. All I need to do is use an elliptical machine. Duh. I think I'll get a gym membership again to do that.

I've fluctuated between only about 20 pounds, so fairly consistent.

I did have a college friend who was just slightly overweight, but more average than anything else. Anyway, he went on this big diet and he ended up looking too thin. People had to kindly tell him that he should gain some weight. I imagine it's awkward to be on the receiving end of that.

Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest.

Wow, how tall are you if you don't mind me asking? And are you a woman? Because 90 seems tiny.

My gf is fairly short and very slim and she's like 105

I'm 6'2, came out of high school at 145, did an entire month in the Navy that somehow put me at around 160 as my new "base weight", went from there to 175 and back a lot until grad school, where I went from 160 to 180 with weightlifting.

I hang around 180 now. Heaviest was like 193 during my grad school bulk.

Pretty much the same for me. Once I started approaching 180, I began to look gaunt. I'm naturally stocky; I'd probably look downright tortured at 160, a healthy weight for most men my height.

The way your clothes fit is something that can be hard to really grasp in the mirror. When I was down in the 160s, I got a lot of "are you OK? is everything...OK? are you sick?" which is crazy because I was sick with my parathyroid tumor when I was 214 and no one said a thing. You maybe have no idea how your butt looks to other people because we don't always worry about that sorta thing.

Very true. I might not look very different to me, but I definitely can't fit in some of the clothes I used to. I bought an entire wardrobe two years ago that were intended for a 33" waist. I couldn't fit into my 33" jeans now without putting my junk in a vice grip. Disheartening. =(

BUT I did just download MyFitnessPal and am committed to eating and exercising the way I used to. Hopefully I can report some progress in a month.

I got up to 140, then dropped to 125 after an extended period of being sick. I'm up in the 130's again somewhere, but it's been weeks since I've checked.
