Go all in and have him be the #1 bad? Going all the way certainly would have been more interesting, but this seems like another case of planning for a rerelease during development. I also want to know who at Atlus thought so little of their player base that they thought the pancake comment was a blink and you miss it end of game twist worthy moment. Party members wise, it's pretty close I give the edge to 5 when comparing them as individual characters. Honestly I didn't dislike a single character in 5. Even the least good ones were still at least okay. When comparing chemistry, it's nearly dead even. I quite liked how the characters interacted in 5. They felt they had become pretty close by the end. But as I said, it's nearly dead even. Not sure which game does it better honestly.
