How long do bus tours usually last and is it the kind of thing we could decide to do the day of or does it have to be registered for in advance?

The most recent ones I've done were in Chicago and they took around 2-3 hours and reservations were not required (even in summer). Some bus tours also let you get off at certain locations and then get back on whenever you want.

Note that that's my experience for Chicago, but I would imagine it's similar for LA. Still, check into the companies themselves.

Hop on hop off buses are indeed great if you can find one.

Giving birth has taken a turn for the slow. Its starting to look like I no longer have a Best Man in time for the wedding.

My husband and I just got back from Disney World. We did not go to Animal Kingdom because they weekend we went was when the Avatar ride opened. Someone told us there were 4 hour waits.

Go to Hollywood studios on a Saturday, its the least busy.

Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom in the middle of the week. Those two are the busiest. We went to the magic kingdom on a Friday and most of the rides waits were close to an hour or longer. (Space Mountain was 2 hours and my husband said "no way")

Yeah, this is the schedule we're still planning on, so that should fit. Tuesday and Wednesday for the busiest parks (Magic and Animal Kingdom) and busier days for Universal/Hollywood Studios.

Spent the entire day going over large and small details on not much sleep. On pace to get not much again tonight. But things look like they are as set as they are going to be.

The rehearsal went really well and the rehearsal dinner afterwards was very fun. Waking up in 7~ hours to get ready to go.

Oh and my best man's baby was born a few hours ago! 6'4" healthy boy.

It's been over 30 hours at the hospital for him and the mother though because it became such a process to induce labor when they did, so he still wont be making it to the wedding, but I'm so happy for both of them.

And now I'll always remember his son's birthday! :D

I forgot to put sun block on the back of my neck yesterday so I already have a pretty intense sunburn and we aren't even in a Florida yet.

Today we're going to a taping of @Midnight and we're going to visit some of my LA relatives who were unable to travel to the wedding.

Having a blast at Hollywood Studios. We got everything in the park done that we wanted to do without having to rush too much and now we're waiting for the Fantasmic display and the Star Wars fireworks.
