I'll give you a small digit of advice, Don't think for a second that you can just run up on things and slaughter them, Link is fragile as hell at the beginning. Avoid battle unless there's absolutely no choice.

Pretty sure he's saying that the game treats Ganon as an impending threat that will erupt at any time, but you can just fuck around forever without him doing that.

Too late. Got my ass handed to me by the cold weather, and by tons of dudes. Though, I did manage to learn to time my jumps so I can do flurry attacks and rarely deflect Guardian blasts. Those moments(The Guardian blasts) were what made me almost revert to a kid again.

Almost everything you can do in the game prepares you for ganon in some way. The shrines give you hearts/stamina, the seeds let you carry more weapons, and so on

Good, really train yourself in laser deflecting, it's the game's most important skill and I'm overstating that, some real pain in the ass things become slightly less pain in the ass when you've got that skill down.

I'm not complaining, just saying that it's a bit silly for them to say that he's been on lockdown for 100 years and now he's about to destroy the world. Then you go and run around and do Shield surfing.
