24 y/o Emma Sulkowicz, the former Columbia Univeersity Student who carried a mattress around campus to draw attention to her alleged rape attack is back with a BDSM display to show how Trump's Presidency is diminishing ART!!

Her latest project has a lot more to do with sex as opposed to politics as she was sen tied up with a rope and wearing just a bikini and then hit with a belt by a man she called "Master"

She said the display was a metaphor for the inability of art to flourish under a Trump administration

Emma rose to national prominence in 2014 when she was a 4th year student at Columbia and accused a classmate of hers for raping her in her dorm room and brought charges against him to the university. 2 other women also brought charges against him but the school said the male student was "not responsible"

She filed a larger complaint against the university for mishandling the sexual assault cases and staged a piece of performance art called "Mattress Performance (Carry That Weight).

She wore a skimpy outfit with an older bearded man whom she called "Master Avery" as he slings insult at her and telling her that her boobs are too small and that she has bad posture.

The audience was shocked as at the end of the performance, Master Avery walked away and left the audience to untie Emma from the beam.

Emma says the project was meant to make people think about the value of art in the "sinking ship" andd its to make a statement about the importance of art.

She said "If our country is falling to pieces and you have artists running around saying they're political artists, but really their art is hanging on a sinking ship, the ship is still sinking. I was thinking a lot about this, is it really possible for political artists to make work that makes the ship stop from sinking? We're acting out this sadistic-masochastic relationship between the institution with all of its financial power, and this program that wants to be political but can't really because it's being tied up by this institution".
