Haven't had my norm medication in a week because fuck the United States Postal Service in its stupid fucking face. Have had anxiety cold sores (two in one mother fucking week, when it's usually two per year) and can't stop my mind from running haphazardly every which fucking way. I wish I could just relax, but nope. Anxiety is just here to stay, and he will be until I get my medication. He'll be here even longer, too, because it takes a fucking while for my medication to kick in. It's not like Tylenol. Jesus fuck, how did I cope with this without treatment.

Smoking marijuana can increase anxieties but if you try a tincture or edible it might take the edge off enough to be comfortable. Try to breathe - as annoying and hard as that sounds - maybe if you can, try to get outside for a couple walks! Idk if any of that is helpful but as said above - if you have a prescription there should be a way for you to get an emergency amount if you can contact your primary doctor I have had to do this a couple times especially for traveling!

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield, so hopefully I won't have to change much.

I made an appointment with a physician in the area and I'm sure I'll be anxious and fidgety enough for him to throw a bottle at my head.

I haven't had to juggle this many thoughts since I started taking the medication. Jesus, my brain is a dick.

If you're using a mail order service you can contact them and request an emergency supply (will need prescription, might need to transfer) at a local pharmacy with little to no additional cost.

If you're buying meds over the internet I wish you the best and hope you get to feeling better soon.

He suggested using weed to deal with anxiety. Not a good idea imo. It can become a crutch really easily. Shit isn't cheap when you have to smoke every time the demon comes knocking. Can make you more paranoid and anxious too if you're brain already isn't wired quite right.

Just went to a doctor today and really lucked out with the nurse practitioner I was set up with. She was very helpful and I made her clinic my new primary provider!
