As storage. I never understood it. You have to rinse each plate off already. It's already more than halfway clean when you do that. Take an extra 3 minutes and finish the job. Save money and your dishes are clean quicker.

Not anymore. Last time I turned it on it started shaking violently. Once I came out from under my bed I said never again.

Yes but I am a bit of a clean freak. I don't feel like the dishes get clean enough if I just do it by hand.

Most modern dishwashers are more efficient and use less energy and water than washing by hand. this is true you use less water with a dishwasher. you also probably do not use hot enough water when washing by hand, a dishwasher can use the hottest your hot water heater is set to without burning your flesh off. So they will be cleaner. --- http://i.imgur.com/Rqk1DYV.gif - Super Bowl XXI/XXV/XLII/XLVI Champions - NY Giants Eli Manning SB tracker: 2/2 Superbowls 2/2 SBMVP's ... Copied to Clipboard!

Save money and your dishes are clean quicker. That's what I thought to until one day I said fuck it and put nasty as dishes in the dishwasher that were literally covered in junk with 0 rinsing done and just turned it on and they all came out spotless. Turns out the cleaning strategy of the dishwasher is to basically boil the dishes. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I used to use it a lot as a child since I had many siblings and people coming over. Now that it's basically just me and bae, we just wash by hand.

i hate dishes, wo when i had one pretty much 90% of the time. Sometimes i'd do pots/pans if i needed to cook but still had clean plates/cups/silverware.

I'm married with two kids and we run ours every single day. You don't have to rinse them off either. I bought a new one a year or so ago though

I've had one in my last 3 houses and before that a few apartments I had had them too. I just started using mine in the last year because my wife bought a new one.
