if they have the classic sonic generations type play. it's going to do fine. just stay away from unleashed night stages.
that game would of done better if it was just the day stages.

The character customization is the only thing they're doing that hasn't worked before, and I really don't think it's a huge detriment to the game.

Sonic Mania will be better

I'm sorry to hear that TC. I simply don't allow myself to believe any 3D Sonic game will ever be good again after about a dozen games that I disliked. =p

I also think Sonic Mania will be good so I'm also still in the trap of hoping for good Sonic games...

I feel the most confident about Mania though than I've had in like two decades so I fully expect to die inside when it comes out and sucks somehow because why wouldn't a Sonic game suck. :(

The only way either of these games could possibly suck is if they had game-breaking glitches, 'cause they've got all the foundation for something great.

What was your opinion on Generations and Colors?

The problem with Sonic games isn't that they can't make a good one. It's just that the majority of the time, they're content with cheap, easy projects that they think will sell easy to kids.

Honestly, I think it's risky bringing back "Classic" Sonic for Forces, but if it means it will be at least similar to Generations, the game promises to at least be fun.

colors is another functionally fine game but the level design is really weak
there's not much going on and the game pads out its level list with a lot of "beginner's mario hack" copies of earlier levels
