Joker's Millions
First off, new Penguin is an improvement, even if he just looks like a young Mr. Monopoly.

Anyway, some nice ideas in this episode. Joker blowing money away, hiring a fake Harley Quinn (what a fucked up job position), and then getting beaten to death by a nightstick wielding real Harley. What a weird fucked up episode.

Over The Edge
Oh damn. This one is off to a strong start. I have to say, it really takes a lot for an "it was all a dream" plot to really live up to breaking that copout stigma. I was really impressed by how they handled the "What if Bruce Wayne was found out?" scenario. It's definitely up there in terms of episode quality. There was nothing funny, all business.

I'm inclined to end there. That's how strong this episode was. I'd like to leave it on a high note. Let's see if I can find an episode out of the next 10 or so that has a really good premise to change my mind.

Hmm..."Grayson talks to Drake about how he and Batman split up," "Harley and Ivy team up with Livewire (?) to have a filler episode romp of madness," "Harley talks about falling for the Joker," and "Bruce Wayne's new wife is part of a Poison Ivy plot." Wait a minute...wife?

There's a few interesting ideas left I suppose.

Old Wounds
Nice episode and a good arc. Grayson has every right to disavow and break off from Batman. "Stop your date and get your ass over here." is a damn good reason. So is pestering someone in front of their kids. At least everyone knows who they all are now. I doubt they would have been able to keep everything secret forever. I'm not asking for four person team-ups all the time, but that seems to be the running tagline of this season anyway. I would give anything for a costumed Alfred though.

Livewire sounds like Tank Girl. I'm suddenly interested in this dumb episode. I think I'm gonna skip the Harley/Joker one and end with the last Poison Ivy episode, with something about Bruce's wife or whatever. Ivy's been a sleeper hit in the show, and one of my favorite characters. I"m all for ending that way.
