The thief puts his hand on a wooden working table, the older guy, probably the village elder or some shit proceeds to chop his finger off one by one while the crowd of like 20-30 people is cheering. After the process is done, thief's phone rings and he casually answers it with his other hand and walks away. It's not the act that was disturbing, but the casual behavior of all those people, as if it was an everyday thing.
