they bring it out to you in tin foil? I'm so disgusted by that that I feel like taking that potato and throwing it at the chef.

this is even worse when you find out they didn't even wash the skin very well because they thought you wouldn't notice because of the foil. I eat the skin too! There shouldn't be dirt on it!

Giving it to me in foil is implying that you expect me to scoop potato out of the center of the potato, instead of chop portions off like I normally would.

A restaurant is supposed to give you your meal fully ready to eat.

I've had that happen to me, TC. I was like "really they can't even rinse off the potato before they cook it?"

I rarely order baked potatoes unless that's like my only option. I love them, though. I have a pressure cooker where I can "bake" them really fast. I can cut them up or use them as the basis for mashed potatoes (so much faster than boiling). Having a pressure cooker pretty much means you never have to buy instant mashed potatoes ever again. Real deal every time baby :)
