i played two matches thus far and the netcode seems good when you're in a match

so yeah, have played around 25 matches and i have some thoughts

1. the netcode seems good when you're in a match. i've had no lag and it's felt great when i get into a match. but there have been a ton of issues when connecting to people. about half my matches end at the character select screen -- but it is a beta

2. their emulation of the sound hardware results in a lot of weird skips and stutters during loads

3. fuck. i should not be playing this game. i'm so competitive because i grew up playing this and the one match i lost i got so fucking pissed

this has always been my number one issue with DotEmu's Neo Geo ports. They can never get audio right. Other ports have had lots of other issues too, so at least they're improving if this is all you can find wrong with it
