apply a patch I don't think it's that simple. Memory leak affects the entire OS and some major applications. --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple FFBE ID: 196 912 851 900+ ATK Orlandu ... Copied to Clipboard!

Memory leak issues are usually caused by programs and isn't something you can usually deal with. The creator of the program needs to patch their software. Or you can just have a ton of ram to combat the leaks.

Next time you download more memory make sure it has uv dye in it so you can find the source of the leak. If its a small leak you should be able to just use some sealant to fix it, if its a bigger leak you may need to replace your memory tank.

Ummm I was under the impression memory leak is some degrading bug that affects the entire computer? But you're saying memory leak is simply an application failure? Leaks are caused by bad code. Bad code is run in applications. Applications address memory for themselves. If an application crashes or has its process killed by the operating system, all addressed memory for that application is freed. If the operating System is leaking memory, that can be fixed with a reboot. If you notice that something strange is happening with your memory no matter how often you reboot (like all your memory is being addressed within a few hours), you may have a driver issue on your PC and there is usually a resolution. --- ... Running multiple antivirus programs simultaneously is one of the more common reasons for memory being eaten up. It's generally ok to have multiple AV apps installed as long as only one has real-time scan enabled.
Other "cleaner" apps like CCleaner and Glary's Utilities can conflict with AVs as well. They don't actually need to run in the background and often do more harm than good anyway, so if you must use them, disable them running on startup and just launch them manually when needed. --- Do unto others what your parents did to you. ...
