Master Roshi was a moon buster in early Dragon Ball.

Piccolo casually moon busted in the early saiyan arc.

Vegeta definitely was a planet buster.

It could have been anime filler but IIRC Vegeta says his blast could blow up the earth when he's fighting Goku so idk. Considering Piccolo effortlessly blows up the moon I don't think it's a huge stretch to say Vegeta could blow up Earth considering their massive power difference. Nothing factual that I know of to back that up tho.

inanimate objects in dbz are just very very weak

blowing up the moon seems like a big feat until you realize how weak Roshi is compared to the rest of the series

basically to act like Roshi is powerful cause he could blow up the moon means the saibamen are moonbusters and stupid stuff like that

Moon =/= Earth

Besides, I was speaking generally. If anything Vegeta would be low level Planet Buster. He was straining himself while charging his Galick Gun. And then Frieza himself underestimated his planet busting ability when Namek didn't blow up right away.

Could have been bluffing. Like I said, he was working pretty hard to gather the energy. And Final Form Frieza miscalculated on Namek, too.

I'd rather we not. Please talk about something else like whether or not you believe Buu and the others had enough power to destroy a galaxy. Or if Cell could really take out the solar system.

yep

dbz and dbs is very inconsistent

the blowing up planets and universe thing are pretty much just shock value

they shouldn't be taken as real feats

real feats in dbz and dbs is actually fighting strong people


I will give an example

Goku fights Beerus in DBS and is considered to now put the universe at jeapordy right?
Goku fans are drooling at the mouth

Goku then gets stronger and Frieza pwns him
Does this mean Frieza is stronger than Beerus? no
But if we took Goku's feat as actually meaning anything it should.

Then Hit also pwns Goku. That should mean Hit is a universe buster and can beat Beerus. But again, that is only if we think Goku putting the universe at jeapordy was anything more than shock value.

Was is interesting is Beerus power to destroy stuff isn't just sheer power, he has like a magic attack where he goes DESTROY and it just disintegrates whatever.
Yet Goku is said to be able to blow up the universe not because of God power like this, but just pure strength.

Yet it is likely that Beerus God of Destruction power to blow up the universe is more like he initiates DESTROY rather than an actual energy attack.
Much like how Zeno did it.

Zeno didn't unleash some super powerful attack, it was more or less him using a magic spell.
