FE Warriors and Xenoblade were known. 2d Metroid is pretty interesting, especially for me, but people were saying this after the digital event and it wasn't even there.

I think XB2 being announced for this year - something they've stuck to since the day it was announced - is offset by the fact that it didn't look as good as I wanted. I hope that game is as good as the original.

It's not like I had a particularly logical reason, when I felt like Xenoblade 2 might not make it's release date. It just felt like the kind of game that wouldn't get a release, especially an English release, so close to its announcement.

I largely liked what I saw of Xenoblade 2 but the anime stuff is definitely more of a positive to me than I imagine it is for most other people who were interested in the series.

I'm not willing to judge it just yet, but the trailer felt really awkward and cringey with its voices and action. I'm all in on that game because I love both Xenoblade games to death, but I'm not 100% sold.

The last Yoshi game was an updated port to a more played console.

This one, though, is visually impressive, it's (still) got multiplayer, and it's good ol' fun.

The kirby game, on the other hand, I'm also looking forward to. Broom power up is back, and you can recruit enemies by throwing hearts at them. I can't wait to see what terrifying abomination rears its horrifying head this time.

huh, I didn't think people cared about Yoshi. Woolly World seemed largely ignored. Kirby seemed OK too and I know others like that series more than me, but I'm surprised that another Kirby game makes much of a splash here. I think one just came out two months ago?

I'm totally fine if people liked what they showed, but I didn't think those two alone, plus a logo, was enough to dominate an e3. then again, e3 was kind of ehhhh across the board this year so I guess it could have won by default.

I think the Spotlight benefits from the fact it was so short. If they stretched it out an hour with the same stuff we'd feel dragged. As it was the show felt pretty densely packed, just breezing through from game to game. Even when stuff stuff I didn't wanna see came up I was pleased with how short they were presented (Rabbids I'm looking at you) so we could get back to business.

although if stretching it out an hour could give us MP4 gameplay then hell gimme gimme



basically I get people not thinking it was all that great, but yeah this E3 wasn't that great and I'm really pleased with the stuff we saw.

Personally, the only game that I'm interested in from them is also a Nintendo game so... *shrugs*

Not to say the rest was bad, not at all, just not the cup of tea I crave.
