The fact that he's telling this mayor that they're gonna be fine is idiotic..even moreso that the mayor BOUGHT It No. Trump is right. Climate Change is a hoax created by liberals and nothing is happening. We're gonna be FINE View Results The mayor of a tiny "Trump-loving" Virginia island that is rapidly disappearing underwater was personally CALLED by President Trump to "NOT TO WORRY" about rising sea levels because the scientists are WRONG and don't know what they're talking about!! James "Ooker" Eskridge is the mayor of Tangier, a traditional crabbing community with a population of 450 people. Studies are showing that the tiny island is disappearing at an alarming rate of 16^ of land per year and scientists say residents could be forced to abandon their homes within 25 years when it becomes uninhabitable. 67% of the island has sank underwater since 1850 as scientists said "The Tangier Islands and the Town are running out of time, and if no action is taken, the citizens of Tangier may become among the first climate change refugees in the continential USA" The president "personally" reached out to he mayor and phoned him as James said "He said not to worry about sea level rise. Your island has been there for hundreds of years and i believe your island will be there for hundreds more. It was unreal. He called around 2 this afternoon. So i came in from crabbing and they said i got a call, i said That's not real. Anyway i hung around. I left for a short time to go to my crab house and then came back and i got this call and the lady says i'm with the president's office. The president would like to know if he could speak to you. I said, Yes he sure can. Trump then said to me, you've got one heck of an island there." One of the reasons why Trump was so fond of the island was because of how the people voted where 87% of them voted for Trump. James said "This is a Trump island, we really love you down here. The stuff you are doing is just common sense stuff. I said i believe you're for the working man, and you want people to get back to work, you're for the military and israel and religious liberties. It's all the stuff that we value" Trump reassured him that his island is SAFE and that Liberal Scientists were bulls**** climate change. James was full of relief and said he didn't believe any of that "crap" either and that Trump knows the truth... Is this island in trouble? let's see what people think. That Delmarva Peninsula area is really nice, and it's sad to think places like this will soon disappear forever. I know it isn't very populated, but it'll be a sad loss of culture when islands like this(and the crabbing way of life) disappear on islands like this. That mayor is a dumbass though, for thinking climate change is false.
