Her: 2 trashy looking people pointed at me and gave me dirty looks, then they told me (insert racist stuff here about jthe place being a bar for certain kind of people, etc) Me: But the bartender didn't serve you?! Then they called the bartender, pointed at me again and he came here and said "sorry, bar's full, we can't serve new orders, just people who already ordered" So I asked her to tell me how they were dressed and went to the bar. She was like "noooo, let's just go somewhere else!" but I was like "nah,wait". So I went to the bar by myself, smiled at those two and nodded... they smiled and nodded back. Then the bartender took my order, and when he got me my drinks I called my girlfriend. I gave her her drink, stared at the 2 idiots (for the record, it was a guy and a girl, not 2 guys, I'm not an idiot), then told the bartender "so you're taking new orders now?" The bartender went batshit when I said that, and I asked to see his supervisor (it's a bar on a busy Friday, good luck). I ended talking to another bartender and explained him what happened. The bartender that denied my ex said "no, they never pointed at her! The were just being friendly, and they simply told me that the bar was crowded, that's it. It wasn't about HER, it was about the number of people" So I asked them why would 2 random patrons comment on that and give him directions on when to stop serving people.... he told me that I'd not understand (lol). It was a mix of a bunch different type of Asian families and since the Vietnamese were the majority of that, they pretty much "terrorized" the neighborhood. After I left my friend said she doesn't like black people, we were still friends though. Happened back in highschool. My mom & step dad worked at the Lakeland Best Buy before it was even open, they had their staff set the inside up before its grand opening years ago. They each worked their forever & were both in charge of their departments for years. I went in 1 day while my was working & i was looking around in the media (Cd's, movies, games) department. My mom & Bonnie (her bbestfriend) came out the office up front by the security desk & she saw that security was following me around with the cameras. My mom & Bonnie stood there with the security woman for like 10 minutes talking to the security woman but never mentioned that i was her son while the whole time they kept talking about me looking around. As my mom left the security woman at the desk she told her "to watch this". My mom then walked over to where i was at, gave me a hug & said to wave at the camera. So we both smiled & waved at the camera. The security woman was wondering wtf was up & thats when Bonnie told her that i was my moms son. Only place that doesn't happen is places like 711 and retail shops where the price is listed. Even government run parks charge literally 10x more for entry because I'm a foreigner even though I pay taxes unlike 90% of the country. Luckily things are cheap for the most part and I can always use my wife to get local prices. One lady told me that I was an animal and her mother told me to not talk bad about "them", but she was holding back some names for me I guess. Then we were best friends I suppose according to her another one said I was nothing but a black B** because I was trying to change her wet brief and she didn't want to move I also had a patient outright refuse to let me care for him because I am black. The man gave me the death glare when I entered the room and then went as far as pulling his hand away when I tried to give him a shirt to wear. When asked, he told the other nurses (white) "YOU KNOW WHY!" When I left the room, it was N-word fest all night. It made for an entertaining night watching him call for the restroom but having to wait until a white nurse was available. My coworkers were apologizing to me all night. It's funny watching non-black people get all flustered when a racist asshole is honest.
