Can't go outside without getting swarmed. They're big. They have painful bites. By the time you swat the first biter, more are on you sucking your blood.

Can't even stay inside safely. They bit me all afternoon at work. Every time someone came inside a swarm would follow. At one point I had bloody streaks on all sides of my hands from swatting them away. My legs are covered in bites. And the most annoying ones of all...



Right on the sock line. Arrrrgh. One even got me on the inner thigh, and that one was a heartless monster.

Don't live in a northern swamp if you want to spend summer in comfort.
