Over 2/3 of men experience some level of hair loss by their 30s, so this shouldn't surprise you.

No one i know is bald or balding, especially in my family. so it does surprise me.
im half white half native american, and not even the white side balds

My hairline is fine so far, but it's definitely getting a lot thinner... I'm actually kinda paranoid :(

Started thinning in my mid 20s, and started shaving it in my late 20s.

Only one in my family like this. My dad has a full head of hair.

It started when I was like 19 and I struggled to cope with it. I don't care now though, just kept it short and grew a cool beard and all was well.

Yes, biotin's marketing for hair loss is a total scam. Plssss Nathan, listen to us, don't waste your time.

RU is the best treatment. Throw in finasteride and minoxidil if you can tolerate the harm it does to your body.

While both sides do contribute, I wouldn't write it off as an old wives tale. The gene that's the biggest contributor and sets other balding genes in motion is found only on the X chromosome.
