thats where my suspicion of Chris stemmed from

If you're town and were roleblocked as you say then either Chris is scum who claimed Vig or chris is town Vig who doubled up scum's shot on stan which got redirected from me

I really doubt a scum team did nothing to stan

conveniently for us scum claiming vig doesn't tend to live for long

-unless a town blocker blocked death, that means either (chris is scum) or (scum ignored chris) or I guess (dowolf was untargetable)

if scum:
-probably they didn't block anyone last night


assuming a scum block goes out every N1 is bad so in that regard, I don't guess the claim really exonerates death and the reactions probably are worth looking into as you say. it could be a ploy to either put a wedge between himself and scum buddy chris or if chris is town, maybe more so in hopes of outing additional town power.

what were people's cases against death aside from chris's?

not at this point given what relatively little I know of the game. No idea what all scum has power-wise or numbers-wise and there could still be anti-town roles too. As has been mentioned the ninja part of cop might only serve to give town a chance to shoot itself in the foot

has particularly jumped out at me as just being a super lazy one-liner that isn't insightful or helpful. And the fact that his only response to whether or not he buys death's claim is "not really" - Shad didn't do anything before this topic to make me feel one way or another about him, and that in itself is a red flag. The clipped dismissiveness of all of his posts in this topic, however, is making me feel more comfortable with him as a lynch target.

Also telling is that he's a lot of people's second scum option which could denote either scum who are currently voting him to look good, or scum that want an excuse to be voting for someone else.

Of course I got that post ninja'd entirely with a claim. >_<

That checks out with him being on puns all day, and Scare's death is a bit less weird.

Power claims sort themselves out.

If Death is Scum then they have to maintain the facade of role blocking him or actually give away scan info (if he is Scum Thief, the info is still info they have to give Town).

If he's Town, Scum have to role block him or let him loose.

Either way, it directs a roleblocker or gives Town scans. Or lying is revealed.

Can't comment on Shad now, but I still trust him.

I'm going to have to go back and comb through the claimed/implied actions here because there's been a lot of content and it's not coming immediately to mind. That seems like it might actually track surprisingly well with what happened, though.

Then again Leo also has a point in that mafia roleblockers are a thing.
