it sounds like an innocent question: "Which newly announced game from E3 this year are you most looking forward to?"

Most PS4/Xbox/multplat games on the list have (a) a name, (b) a trailer and (c) a release date/window.

Metroid Prime 4 has no trailer.

Pokemon Switch has no name, no trailer and no release date. It was literally a 3 second mention.

They're not directly comparable to the other games that have more tangible info. But including these options on the poll makes Nintendo look better.

The differences in the grade descriptions between Nintendo and Sony/MS introduces a bias in the poll. "Pretty good" and "great" don't mean the same thing.




This pro-Nintendo bias happens constantly throughout the year, not just the recent E3 polls. Whoever writes these polls needs to be replaced by a neutral party. Otherwise this site should be officially renamed NintenFAQs.

Yup, the infestation of diehard Nintendrones is the worst thing to happen to this site in the past 10-15 years. Before that there was a diehard Square/Sony fanbase that acted as somewhat of a counterweight, but they've mostly disappeared.

This, plus it's Gamefaqs why are you guys still surprised decades later that this website is filled with Nintendo fanboys? I mean one look at the character battles, game of the years, and Game of all time tournaments and you can see anything Nintendo will win.

Nintendo announced 5 games during their Direct, not even counting the ones announced outside the Direct, and got 2 out of 10 spots on the poll. I'm not seeing the bias.

Looks more anti-Nintendo than pro-Nintendo to me. Nintendo's games got "pretty good" and Sony/MS's got "great" for the same grade.

It's not even that Nintendo will win, but the fact that those tournaments are filled up with Nintendo trash that have no chance of winning.

How is that biased? They're games that are coming out sometime relatively soon. It just sounds like you're upset that people are more excited about the names of some Nintendo games than they are full trailers of the mostly boring stuff Sony and Microsoft showed off.

I voted Monster Hunter, but I'm still way more excited about the new Pokemon than I am anything else that was shown. And Metroid fans haven't had a good game in nearly a decade, so no wonder they're exited that one even exists.

In short, there's no bias, you're just whining about nonsense. If anything, this site is biased to Sony.

I've never played a Metroid game.

Monster Hunter is going to be great assuming Capcom doesn't screw up the PC port.
New Dragon Ball game is going to be great assuming that it has a good roster.
Anthem might be passable, but it might not take off due to platform (Origin).
Pokemon is already dying, and I can't relate to it. TPC ruined the Anime and the games for Sun/Moon.

Can't say anything about the other games. Do not interest me or don't know the IP. Remember I hate 'action games'.
