As for me, my main hobbies aside from games are voice actors (seiyu otaku) and eventing, I'm a politics/news junkie, and I watch some NFL. Most of them are pretty cheap hobbies (except home remodeling obviously). --- I am a senior software engineer. However, just following one show or watching things of one genre feels more like an interest. At the same time, horror is one of my interests whereas watching horror films has been a hobby. Likewise, history and politics are interests, but things like wikiwalking are my actual hobbies.
