Lol, seems like the only people on GFM that get help are people to lazy to get a job. I've seen people with medical issues get 0 but some lazy 18 yr old got $9k to take a trip to France so he can get stoned

I'll be sober minded for a month or two, and then extremely depressed for a month or two. If I actually owned a gun, I would have ended my life a while ago. :/ It's dangerous for me to own one.

Most burglar's try to break in at times when they think you won't be home (During the Work Day)

I also never saw the problem with just defending your stuff. "Your valuables aren't worth someone's life" they say, but I disagree. People work hard for their belongings. Why should I let some asshole take them? Plus, there are things that are priceless and irreplaceable like things that are inherited. Of course a home invader might intend harm on the occupants anyway.

Like others have said: If you don't want to get shot and/or killed, don't rob people. It's all on them.

can you not get some sort of shotgun if you are a hunter?

I know in certain places you can have all kinda guns if you shoot competitively too. I'd look into that, because no shit if I lived in NYC I'd have a gun in my house, and would likely do ANYTHING I could to get a permit to carry one.
