Hilariously enough, Manhattan has cool shit going for him despite seeming like a freaky, glowing, blue guy who doesn't wear clothes often at first glance.

Like... yeah, he basically becomes a god and that sounds really powerful because it is, but the way he behaves makes the story so much better.

Do I want to build glass structures on Mars? Do I want to help Earth or be a dick despite being capable of teleportation and not having to breathe? I could go anywhere, but maybe being a dick on Earth is cool enough.

Honestly until DC decided to do new things with him last year, he was actually on the lower level of reality warpers. Plenty of characters in Marvel and DC who could do more.
Still even the 'weaker' version would be unstoppable in real life.
