5 Best Friends since High School from California have taken a vacation to Oregon every year for 35 YEARS and have taken a picture of themselves to show their transformation as its now become a long-standing tradition.

They have been going on the same vacation site and taking the same exact photo since 1982.

John Wardlaw, Mark Rumer, Dallas Burney, John Molony and John Dickson posed together for their latest pohoto at Copco Lake

The now 53 y/o men visited the same lake, stayed in the same cabin and sat on the same bench and made the same pose as t hey even kept the same facial expressions to the end and wore the same clothes as they did when they were scruffy teenagers.

They call the 5 Year Photo Project.

Dickson said "It blows my mind 35 years later we're recreating that 1982 photo"

3 of the friends has since gotten married and Dickson became a father. John's wife, who he married at 49 gave birth to their son Jimmy TWO YEARS AGO and is the FIRST of the 5 men who has a child...

It started out as just a personal thing between 5 friends but their story has since gone viral and turned into global sensations

They all live seperate lives but made sure to get together for their 5 yearly vacation to Copco lake as John is the only one who still lives in Santa Barbara and runs a tourism website

Wardlaw and Rumer-Cleary both live in Oregon as one works as a filmmaker and photographer and the other as a hardware and systems engineer

Burney teaches 3rd grade and Molony is a Photographer
