We're open on the 4th, so I got work, but I do get holiday pay for it. Doesn't matter to me though, I'm taking the following week off for vacation.

We work 365 days out of the year. While we are closed to the public on major holidays employees still work as if it were a regular day. I work the 3rd but have the 4th off.

Both jobs Was gonna take the 3rd shift job off but there is this annoying little fuck that requests every single fucking holiday before and after days off months in advance. When I found out on Thursday I sat him down and said I would honor the ones he already has requested and approved off, but I'm not approving any more this year. I have the 4th off and am working the 3rd because I have no plans to celebrate this year.

Monday ( regularly off ) working at time and a half. Tuesday paid holiday plus time and a half for working.

Yes. My company has a policy that if you take off any workdays adjacent to a holiday, you don't get the holiday pay.
