I don't drink soda.
I don't eat chips or candy bars (maybe chips every once or two weeks).
Been eating at home since I can't afford fast food.

Can't lose it...It's too hot outside to do anything except walking. Maybe I should go on a long walk or something?

Don't eat carbs. You will be able to lose that weight (plus much more) in literally a week.

That's the one where you only eat what caveman ate?

Aren't low carb diets easy to binge on? My brother is trying it, so I could try it along with him.

That's paleo. It's a bit different.

With keto, you just eat high fat, moderate protein, and no carb (well, under 20g per day, but it's best to keep this as low as possible). You can pretty much eat as much as you like while doing this diet, and you'll still lose weight because your body is in ketosis, which is "rapid fat-burning mode".

Just trust me on this. If you can stick to this diet for a few weeks, you will see the results you're after.

I can always learn how to not eat bread. That's my huge wall for diets, bread. Everything I like to eat is "bread". Subs, rice, pasta, grilled cheese, burgers, ect. But I fucking love veggies, so that's all good with me. I like making stews, so I can do that. I'm looking at this site -

Calories in calories out is the only thing that matters.

As far as your weight is concerned: you may still be currently losing fat while the scale says your body weight hasn't changed.

When you eat less, your fat cells cling onto more water to survive, that added water weight masks your weight loss. After a week or two the fat cells will eventually die and the water will be flushed out of your system, it's why some days while dieting you suddenly lose 4-5 pounds overnight and look way better.

TL;DR stay the course, eat less, ignore the scale

Keto is a myth, your body will just burn dietary fat instead of carbs for energy, calories in calories out is the only thing that matters. Don't believe me? Eat a tub of peanut butter every meal and tell me how much weight you lose.

Yep, don't back up your claims or anything.

Carbs are readily available fuel for exercise, when they are not burned through exercise they are converted into body fat.

Dietary fat is less readily available fuel for exercise, when they are not burned through exercise they are converted into body fat.

Carbs and dietary fat serve different roles in terms of overall health, as far as weight loss is concerned there is no fucking difference, the only thing that matters is calories in calories out. The only reason why keto is viable is because it nixes garbage like soda and french fries out of people's diets. There is no magic bullet with weight loss, you are not "hacking" your body, you are merely shooting yourself in the foot by foregoing healthy carb foods that can help with cardio and lifting.
