The simple fact is that NeoGAF is a well-moderated video game forum. Free email addresses aren't eligible for forum account registration, getting an account approved there can take upwards of six months, and the moderators aren't afraid to drop the ban hammer on individuals who post racist and offensive speech. Therefore, it is nearly impossible for race-baiters and trolls to post there, which is probably the reason why so many users here appear to despise it. It is the exact opposite of GameFAQs. As forums go, it's actually very good though. Users aren't allowed to express hateful and bigoted attitudes, and those that do are cleared out. Please shut the site down feds. -This guy used to be a moderator at this gaming forum: http://www.neogaf.com/ under the name "Amir0x" and from what I've heard they have a history with this sort of thing, that place should be shut down to protect the kids in my opinion. -This guy was allowed to stay on NeoGAF despite being a kiddy fiddler, but many others who don’t subscribe to their progressive ideology and love for Islam (even if they were ex-Muslims like me) got banned. Shows what kind of a place that forum is, investigate and charge the lot of them. There is a poster called Golden_Pigeon whom I’m sure is a terrorist, or at least a terrorist sympathizer like Anjem Chodury (who is thankfully in jail now) -Just looked and this forum is degenerate. The guy was a drug addict and domestic abuser (his mother for cryin out loud) and the forum let him keep his post. Your child might have been exposed to this scum and the fact they endorse it is dreadful. They hide behind it's just videogames, but they are promoting evil. How many children have been affected by these child pornographers. </quote> NeoGAF hasn't "sheltered" anyone, no more than GameFAQs "sheltered" church arsonists by allowing Jediknight to post here. The simple fact is that NeoGAF is a well-moderated video game forum. Free email addresses aren't eligible for forum account registration, getting an account approved there can take upwards of six months, and the moderators aren't afraid to drop the ban hammer on individuals who post racist and offensive speech. Therefore, it is nearly impossible for race-baiters and trolls to post there, which is probably the reason why so many users here appear to despise it. It is the exact opposite of GameFAQs.
