So I just saw a $10 starter bundle on PSN that supposedly includes 30-day access

But I also heard that it became F2P up to a certain level

So which one is it exactly

And is that starter bundle actually worth it

Just looked up the 11.99 bundle or whatever. That's just the base game. The base game is cool. But you'll want to play the two expansions as well. Best bet for that is the 60 dollar bundle that includes the base game and both the expansions.

FF14 is a cool game. It had a lot of "oh shit this is awesome" moments. Fighting Ifrit, Ramauh, tanking Gilgamesh on the Big Bridge as a remix of the classic song blasts, going into Matoya's cavern and hearing the music. If you're looking for an MMO you really can't go wrong with this.

It appears they offer a free trial on PSN though. I'd maybe download that and try it out. If you like it just splurge on the 60 buck pack.

ffxiv is not free to play

it is just first 30 days are free from subscribing

so get that $10 starter and try out your first 30 days and see if you like it

if you do, beat the main story till lvl 50

if you decide to keep going at this point buy stormblood so you can level beyond lvl 50 as it comes with Heavesward and Stormblood

What I meant by F2P was that apparently they made it now where you can play up to a certain level, is that still true?
