Like Jumanji. Shit was mediocre. Sure when I was kid it was memorable. Probably because I was a kid and overrated shit back then too. The new one doesn't seem as bad as people trash it to be.

Ill understand if it was like the Matrix or something. Yes the sequels were kinda meh but you can't remake that.

I was never ready for Jumanji 2, it sounded like a horrible idea trying to cash in on nostalgia (which has certainly been the trend) but you shut your mouth about the original.

Depends on the movie. Young Frankenstein is brilliant and I first saw it relatively recently.

There was already a Jumanji 2. It was called Zathura and it was great! As for the original Jumanji? I don't think it's overrated at all. It's a solid film.

Gone With the Wind was trash. Definitely classics I do enjoy but most of them don't hold up to me. As for my nostalgia flicks, I am completely willing to admit to ones I think arr bad that I loved as a kid (like Space Jams) bit I still liked Jumanji. And there's also the fact that just because a movie doesn't entertain me ad an adult doesn't mean it's bad, just that ithas no content geared towards older audiences.

A good example of this are Adm Sandler films. We talk about how awful his new ones are and how great his old ones are when in truth, most of his shit we're always awful or just meh. Most of us were just stupid kids when we watched his old stuff.
