I never thought I would play this game again, yet here we are. Fayt and friends came back in HD and trophy support to make sure Summer of Star Ocean never truly ended.

This platinum took 3 playthroughs, a complete one on Galaxy and then 2 speedthroughs on Universe and 4D difficulty. You really have to know how to abuse item creation to survive on those higher difficulties or you're dead in seconds. 4D is made a bit easier thanks to the No Movement Glitch where enemies won't move as long as you're moving if there's only 1 surviving party member. They made it a bit easier to get the platinum too by only requiring 80% of the Battle Trophies (240/300) instead of all of them like Star Ocean 4 and 5. Even then it was still more difficult than Star Ocean 5 because that only had 100 BTs. Getting 100% in this wouldn't be quite as difficult as getting all 900 BTs in Star Ocean 4, but it would be close because there's so many missable and difficulty specific BTs. My final time clocked in around 248 hours across all playthroughs (although probably a bit more due to restarts and the fact the PS4 version is susceptible to freezing as well).

Another thing I'm thankful for that it didn't do that the SO4 trophy set did is that it ignored Personal Actions completely so I didn't have to worry about getting all the different endings where you hook Fayt up with the party member of his choice.

This main points to hit for this platinum are:

- Beating the game Galaxy, Universe and 4D
- Obtained 80% of the Battle Trophies
- Completing the Ancient Book sidequest
- Obtaining the Bunny Race Trophy (80+ hours alone to obtain which I did by using auto turbo)
- Win S Level Runic Chess
- Win all the fights in the Battle Arena
- Reach Level 100 with Fayt
- Complete the Maze of Tribulations and defeat Gabriel Celeste
- Completing Sphere 211 and defeating Ethereal Queen
- Defeating the Fayt Clone in Urssa Temple Cave
- Defeating Freya
- Obtaining all 26 Trading Cards
- Playing the fighting game mode with all stages unlocked

Everything else comes in the process of getting 80% of the BT's

THAT'S IT I'M DONE WITH STAR OCEAN FOREVER SINCE STAR OCEAN 6 WILL DEFINITELY NEVER HAPPEN

unless SE decides to translate the HD version of Star Ocean 2, but I would actually look forward to that :O
