This isn't quite what I did for other cases tbqh. Shaymin Sky is SUPER high for me, but Land isn't as high so I kind of just did a middle ground between them.

Midnight Lycanroc is currently my 2nd most favorite poke. Midday is also super high (top 10).

Personally I lump them together since they are both very fantastic

This generation was really good for Fairy-types. Ribombee, Alola Ninetales, Mimikyu and Primarina are all awesome.

Also, final 6 and half the Pokemon left are Ghost-types.

Okay, My cards on the table, Mimikyu and Decidueye are what's left of my top ten, Marowak-A and Lycanroc are top 20, and Rowlett and Rockruff are 35 and 54 respectively.

And, while I absolutely loathe Pikachu (I actually have Pika on the same level as Egg-A take that as you will) and most of it's related forms, as I said, Mimikyu's friggin' adorable enough and creepy enough *without* the Pikachu connection to stand on it's own merits. >_>'

...(Also yeah Decidueye most likely wins)

I'm at 8, 29, 37, 57, 65, 67 so I really only have one horse left in the race (although none of these Pokemon are terrible. well, .5 of them is terrible)

I took both forms into consideration, which means the inferior form drags down the Pokemon as a whole.

Inviso: Easily the cutest NFE of this generation, even though there was some stiff competition out there.

Luster Soldier: Super cute doggy. There have been other cute dog-based Pokemon in the past like Lillipup and Growlithe, but Rockruff takes it to a completely different level in terms of being cute. Rockruff is almost like a 4th starter since it can fit into the super effective circle of Rockruff ---> Litten ---> Rowlet ---> Popplio ---> Rockruff. Typically, dogs and cats have been depicted as usually not able to be friendly with each other and Rockruff's typing opposes Litten here.

ctes: Rockruff is super cute. Looks really great. It is a really good in one of the roles of generational mascot. Giving Kukui that of all things was a good idea. That said, being mono Rock drags it down a little bit for me, it's one of my least favorite types, so it finishes no higher than this, but for a NFE in my ranking, that's still pretty good.

I don't like the Alolas because of the concept. Some do have better designs than the originals, but that's 20~ spots that could've been brand new Gen 7 Pokemon instead of mostly palette swap Gen 1 Pokemon. They didn't even really pick any of the good ones either. Where's the Nidoking love?! He got no Mega or Alola

I remember someone on 4chan trying to pass off some info on Ultra Sun/Moon and presenting it as a leak, with one of the claims being Alolan Forms for Gen II Pokemon. The leak has the look of being fake.

The only credible leaks for Sun/Moon were the Chinese leaks, which gave us the final starter evolutions. There's also someone known as the Chinese Riddler, who gave out clues on future Pokemon that haven't been revealed yet.
