Should I?

Played a bit of it before the DLC and, eh, it started getting a little easy after the first beast. I plan on picking up the DLC, should I simply do my first run on the new hard mode? I am totally fine with restarting since there's so much I skipped over.

If you want more of a challenge, then yeah, might as well. Haven't tried master mode myself so I'm not sure just how much more difficult it is though

I could say go for it if you found Normal mode too easy. Just be warned that it'll be a lot harder than you'll expect, what with the regenerating health that enemies have. Most people have to play through the beginning sections completely with stealth and avoiding combat.

Stealth is pretty fun in this game at least, but yeah like you'll probably have to go through the areas incredibly slowly if you actually fight everything in your way.

I mean I found myself skipping over most enemy camps in normal mode because of how easy they can get. I like the idea of being more stealth oriented in the beginning.

Stealth is made harder btw. Enemies detect you from much further away. And sound plays an even bigger role.

You get less detected during rain or if a louder sound is playing somewhere else, like an explosion
