Right now, revealing his name isn't relevant. But in the future it might be. It could be news. Realistically it won't be, but it could be.

It's a gif.

The same kind we see all over the internet mocking everything. When Sony bested MS some years ago at E3, there were gifs posted all over showing a PS4 slamming, stomping, beating, etc., an XBO. No one considers it violence. This is the culture we live in. To equate a silly gif with "ugly behavior on social media" is crazy.

CNN didn't like being mocked, so they tracked down the guy who made it and threatened to expose his personal information if he did it again. That is blackmail, pure and simple. Think about is Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and anyone else did that for all the gifs we see on the internet. Let that sink in for a second.
