I want to install Diablo 2 on my work computer so I have something to do... is there a way to install it without other people coming across it?

I don't think there is much risk of being fired? They wouldn't know who installed it anyway. I guess it's just not worth it though, I already have a 3DS to play... it's just there is nothing on 3DS that is as satisfying as a PC game, even if it's from the early 2000s.

I dunno, my buddy has a job that pays 80k a year and is so redundant and boring that he calls me and has a conversation walking around his office. Very little oversight too. Huge company and he and his co workers are just lost in the cracks

I work night shift at a hostel. After I complete my 3 hours of work the other 5 hours are waiting for something to happen.

Diablo 2 doesn't ask you to log into Battle.net through the application I'm pretty sure.

Diablo 2 should be able to run off of USB, I vaguely remember reading something about that. I recall Starcraft was the same. I could be remembering wrong tho

Just install it on a flash drive.

Here's a thread on Gamespot with a guy asking how to do the same thing except with StarCraft instead of Diablo but it should work exactly the same way.

just copy the d2 folder from your desktop to your flash

it works fine, battle net probably wont work though since it requires registry access iirc

You didn't need battlenet for single player. I used to play Diablo on my personal PC I bought when I was in high school. It was an old piece of shit because I had to buy it with my own money, so I didn't have the internet on it for a good while until I upgraded it.

I remember a lot of kids would play Diablo 2 single-player at my school on their shitty laptops. Thems were the days. It amazes me how much depth is packed into that game yet I can't feel that same level of depth on any of the 3DS games I try but maybe it's just me being nostalgic for a game I know like the back of my hand.

That will help you kill some time. Game is fun as shit for a free time killer. It's basically the Snake game in MMO form. You play against hundreds of other players in a giant circular map and have to try and eat each other and stuff.
