A) We don't have an IT department. Computer issues are fixed by someone leaving a note in the log saying "plz someone good with computers fix it I don't knooow!"

I guess it's just not worth it though, I already have a 3DS to play... it's just there is nothing on 3DS that is as satisfying as a PC game, even if it's from the early 2000s. --- I hope this ****in' world ****in' burns away And I'd kill you all if I had my way ... If you don't have an IT department, you could probably just put the shortcut in an out of the way place and no one would know

I would not install Battle.net and log in with credentials on a computer that doesn't physically belong to you.

Wait, would the game run off a USB? I imagine since it's so old this could work?

Diablo 2 should be able to run off of USB, I vaguely remember reading something about that. I recall Starcraft was the same. I could be remembering wrong tho

Just install it on a flash drive.
Here's a thread on Gamespot with a guy asking how to do the same thing except with StarCraft instead of Diablo but it should work exactly the same way. https://www.gamespot.com/forums/pc-mac-linux-society-1000004/install-games-on-a-flash-drive-25383332/ --- ~A little nonsense, now and then, is relished by the wisest men ~ TWSSted since~ 3/27/12 https://i.imgur.com/zlaENmx.png ... I used to play Diablo on my personal PC I bought when I was in high school. It was an old piece of shit because I had to buy it with my own money, so I didn't have the internet on it for a good while until I upgraded it. --- ~A little nonsense, now and then, is relished by the wisest men ~ TWSSted since~ 3/27/12 https://i.imgur.com/zlaENmx.png ... I remember a lot of kids would play Diablo 2 single-player at my school on their shitty laptops. Thems were the days. It amazes me how much depth is packed into that game yet I can't feel that same level of depth on any of the 3DS games I try but maybe it's just me being nostalgic for a game I know like the back of my hand. --- I hope this ****in' world ****in' burns away And I'd kill you all if I had my way ... It's basically the Snake game in MMO form.
