It seems most of my experience when socializing with women is they seem to have the nose in the air, or often times just flat out ignore me for no reason. I never have this problem with men, and I don't particularly act any different around either.

I suppose this is true. When I was single I just remember feeling that the general consensus I got from women was they are cold and uninterested in even just engaging in generic conversation.

depends. ive met a lot of rather cold hot girls but ive met a fair share that are friendly.

one thing you need to realize is that if she is really attractive she probably gets hit on a lot. she might just have that "wall" up to avoid those situations.

Most women aren't really warm/friendly unless you're a good looking guy/another female. Not really their fault though, they get harassed/hit on constantly and are likely pretty jaded.

Imagine if every single time someone talked to you/was nice to you it turned out they were just trying to sell you something. Eventually you're done with it and just throw up a "no solicitors" sign.

Yeah. It's important to not take it personally: not all of us make a nuisance of ourselves, but every woman has had a bad experience with a guy. Probably multiple bad experiences. If she has earbuds in or is texting/talking on her phone, she doesn't want to be disturbed. If you say hi to her and she doesn't react much or at all, don't press the issue. Just leave the interaction at that.

Only when you don't have connections.
