Is the Nintendo Switch a gaming system for adults?

I've been watching NINTENDO SWITCH videos lately and people are noting that the actors are all 20-30-something y/o adults and almost no kids and this might be a switch for Nintendo's advertising dept...instead of targeting kids, they are targeting adults with the concept, marketing, and price. There's the idea that the 2DS and 3DS is now the system for CHILDREN whose parents want a cheaper system starting at $79.99 including a game and cheaper games with a big library which is why Nintendo is still making new E-rated games for it...games that cost $40 and not $60 and the console doesn't cost $300 with no game like the Switch.

Is the Switch a system for adults and 2/3DS targeted for children? Do you feel embarrassed and kiddy if you game with a portable? Let's see what people think.

Somewhere between 1 and 3.

The marketing is clearly geared towards adults, and Nintendo have said as much themselves. However, kids can still enjoy the platform just fine.

I'm 28 years old and I would choose playing games on it over even the PS4 because of portability. Playing Zelda in a hotel room while travelling is just awesome. Can't do the same for other consoles.
