I know it is typical for Peter to let people down in his life, but damn he treated that girl so poorly. He should have not asked her out if he knew that any second he might have to Spider-Man. And the bad guy was right he is little different then what Tony use to do.

Peter just got his powers recently. He hasn't learned how to balance both his private and superhero life yet.

At the time he asked her out he wasn't planning on doing any super hero work. He had just lost his suit and blew and fbi investigation. Looked like he was going to take a break and then go back to small time stuff afterwards.

This is something I hated about Spider-Man in general, but for some reason it really irked me this time.
