Bread, easily. There's so much variety to it and it's the most satisfying.

I'm going to go with bread.

Noodles? Meh. No more top ramen, spaghetti, etc. Mostly empty carbs anyway.

Rice? Eh. No more stirfry, sushi, etc. Can substitute for quinoa.

noodles, which would/should also include things like spaghetti. noodles are awesome, bread is meh, rice is also great, but not as great as noodles.

Rice for sure, i don't care for bread all that much anyways. As for noodles, it was a head to head but i think rice has more variations that i like. Gotta have my sushi and Thai food man.

Yeah, that was a bit confusing. I meant you are choosing to give up the other two, so if you choose rice, you are giving up bread and noodles, etc.

Yea. I'm crazy about different types of bread; personal favourite would have to be the pita bread freshly baked dipped in labneh with olive oil and stuffed with rocket salad.........yum.

Only bread i miss would be garlic bread. Maybe some toasted sourdough, but everyhin else i wouldnt care. Even if it includes rolls and buns. Good catch though, didnt even think of those.

Actually, there would be reasons why they'd pick something else. I asked a few colleagues at work about this and they all answered RICE.

And they explained that 90% of their dishes revolve around rice. They are all Asians; some from the Middle East, South East and South Asian.

So the choice would revolve heavily around culture, ethnic background and what they're accustomed to growing up.

Just like from their perspective, they couldn't understand why I picked bread.

That's fair, most people on PotD though are from western society, so I guess I just made an assumption.

Cake is bread.

Pretzels are bread.

Bread is bread.

Buns are bread. Many things need buns.
