the tech seems to be leading that way, but I don't expect it to be an option for us for a long time after it's available to cis women who need them. at least, until they can be grown on demand.

The science is actually almost there. I expect it to be doable within the next twenty years at the most.
We're also not all that far away from being able to create sex-cells from stem cells, which could lead to same-sex parents having biological children together, although that might take a little long than uterine transplants.
