I'm not really in favor of arbitrary age limits. If someone is a legal adult they should be able to buy tobacco. Ditto for alcohol.

yea i agree. i you're an adult you should be able to do whatever. but it's the same with renting a care. i think most places you have to be at least 21. some i think will let you younger but then some might make you be at least 25 i dunno. i just know a lot of people say you have to be 25 but a quick google search says 21. but again if you're an adult you should be able to do whatever.

i think instead of the age being 25 for cigs just tax based on age. 18 pay $10 a pack. 25 can pay the normal $7 a pack. do the same with alcohol but with 21.

I doubt Trump had anything to do with this. I think this was anti drug crusader Session's doing.

The hotel thing is a liability issue. Underage parties with alcohol, that kinda thing. I think the only time we rent to a guest that is under 21 is if they are there with a business or if they have family staying at the hotel at the same time.

This. I'm all for decriminalizing weed as well, but it also should have a 25 year age minimum. It would really suck to not have your brain develop to its full potential for the rest of your life because you wanted to get baked with your college buddies.

Versus going to war and potentially developing PTSD?
