The last two animated Resident Evil movies have been a blast. The opening and ending action sequences of Kingsglaive were better than anything in FFXV. --- move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines. That's what's wrong with the movies tbh. They make unnecessary changes and never try hard enough. Grab some better actors and writers. Pick a couple of games with fairly compelling stories. Create multiple movies to tell the story better. For example, I think a movie of The Last of Us wouldn't work in two hours. It just wouldn't. Doing four movies, one for each season though? It's fairly surprising they haven't tried to adapt all the superhero movies out there into games. So you're looking at an 8 year saga. Even if they pump it out every year that's a 4 year saga. It's not like the seasons have a compelling solo arc to them that would work as standalone movies too.
