Not really. There are are a lot a bands that are technically still together yet have done nothing since they were first popular.

I find it weird that Finnish metal band called Stam1na has one or maximum of two awesome, really good songs and rest of the songs are really bad. Like completely different. Their older albums might not have any good songs though.

The Doobie Brothers vanished for like 10 years and had some hits in the late 80s and early 90s.
