Bah, the quests are jut the tutorial... they can be largely ignored in favour of dungeon diving. I also recommend making sure TURBO mode is on, unless, like, you play Pokemon with the animations on

There's a game out now called Children of the Zodiarcs that's pretty cool. It's a tactical RPG with a card and dice system. Pretty neat. Been playing it for a few hours and I like it, but the beginning is heavy on tutorials. Not sure if you can turn those off.
