First of all, I've never watched Speedruns before. So a lot of the inside jokes are going over my head and I don't recognize any speedrunners
However, I'm incredibly impressed and in awe of the entire community Some of the donations have been over $500! That is so incredible to me. I think I nearly teared up when someone read a donation of $1,000 and the audience started applauding. How beautiful is that! So pls, recommend speedruns with great commentaries, especially from other SGDQ. I actually enjoy watching runs of games I haven't played too So far my favorite has been the Silent Hill II run, the guys on the couch were very friendly with each other and explained things well. starts tomorrow. its worth it to note that the GQD marathons have become very sanitized and safe. they dont really allow quirky games anymore and the runners arent allowed to be their complete selves. ESA (European Speedrunners Assembly) and NASA (North American Speedrunners Assembly) are much better now because of that. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
