one time we were drawing dinosaurs and i couldnt draw so i copied a kid next to me who somehow drew a great triceratops, i copied his exactly but it came out deformed. i slammed the desk with my fists and started crying. at 5 years old i learned i couldnt draw.

I remember quite a bit. A few stand out moments.

Dousing myself in dakkar noir and getting set home.

Getting sent home because cat piss was on my rain coat.

Having my heart broke when i drew a butterfly for a girl who ripped it up after i gave it to her.

I remember quite a bit actually. I tried to be nice once and draw a line across the road to protect people...with a mop and water. I kept doing it believing it would eventually stay.

Man those teachers must of thought I was an idiot.

I remember the teacher, what she looked like, her name. I remember she referred to the class as "friends" instead of class, children, students, etc. which was weird.

I remember learning letters and how to write. At first, I didn't understand spacing, so I used a hyphen between every letter. A teacher's aide explained how to write properly without doing that and it made sense immediately.

I remember large plastic blocks that we could crawl around in. Static electricity would make hair stand up. Many lulz were had by all.

I remember that the classroom was at the right end of the hall (from the entrance where the buses were), facing the front of the building. The building itself has been expanded a lot since those days. I went there for someone's retirement function probably like 6 years ago and the building was probably close to twice the size.

I remember the teacher's aide's name, but not what she looked like.

I can remember most classmates' names (it was a small class, between 15 and 20). I also remember that I was the 3rd oldest in the class and first to be born in my birthyear (1983). I was proud of that for whatever reason.

I remember one kid having a meltdown and flipping out, to which I attempted and failed to stifle a chuckle. He heard me, stormed over to me (we had all been lined up to go somewhere, lunch or gym or something) and yelled "AND YOU ARE..." with a brief pause between you and are... but he was too mad to think of a way to finish the sentence and then stormed back to his place in line. Various things about his family made some parents suspect they had mafia connections and were possibly in witness protection. No idea if that was true or not.

I remember a girl was wearing a dress and sitting cross-legged behind me one time when the teacher was reading a story. There was a hole in her underwear so I was checking out what I could see of her vagina >_>

I remember the positioning of most things/areas of the classroom.

I remember that one of my better friends, who I enjoyed playing on/in the blocks with ended up being held back and repeated kindergarten the following year.

Trying to remember more but that's all I'm coming up with.

Clear as day. I remember the first day. I remember freaking out the third day because I didn't want to go. I remember making friends with James and Laurena and Elliot. I remember that each of us had a clown face, made of paper, on a board to represent us.

I remember theme days. "J" day, blue day, red day, etc. We had to bring a picture of something for the theme.

I remember bring your family day. Each student brought their family one day at a time. The book "Animalia" fell from a shelf onto my mom and she was so happy because she always loved that book.

I remember Anne chasing me and telling me she loved me, but I wasn't interested. Laruena was my girl.

Elliot playing with the truck all the time. Colleen throwing up. Michael never talked out loud, only would whisper in the teacher's ear. Sean calling Stacy a "fucking cow". Tyler trying to sneak out all of the time. Stacy always trying to take credit for other people's work,

Giving Mrs. Maureena, our student teacher, flowers on her last day, and her bursting into tears and kissing me.

Santa coming and asking what we wanted. (I asked for Grape Escape).
I remember hearing on the news that a young girl named Laurena died in a sled riding accident. I cried my eyes out, not believing my mom it was a different Laurena, until she called (maybe fake called) the school to check.

It's all so clear. More clear than some of my more recent years.

I remember how they had us have play time on Fridays, and how every Friday we switched to the new activity, and how I loved getting the Lego one, and how the mat they had us sit on had squares on it.

I remember learning about people who wrote with their left hand because I had a classmate who did so.

I remember Halloween where we took turns getting changed into the bathroom, and how I was still at the age where everyone liked the Power Rangers.

I remember how I got pushed on the black top at recess and had gotten one of the first scrapes that had left a long lasting scar.

I remember how we had this schoolwide thing about reading, and that every time you filled out a slip, it added something to this dreamcatcher thing we had set up on this large (I think it was paper) tree in our library.

I remember the first girl I had a crush on.

I remember how we had caterpillars that grew into butterflys, which released.

I remember how we had a gerbil, which most likely died during the summer break afterwards.

I remember having my first DS, and playing Pokemon Diamond with an action replay.

I remember how when they had us wait for the bus to pick us up, they had us sit in these lines in our gym.

I barely remember anything up to when I was 6. Though apparently I did bump my head hard enough that I had to be taken to the emergency... so that's the reason I tell people.
