MMA/Muay Thai/BJJ. The main advantage is real, hard sparring and getting used to physical contact. This builds confidence and awareness, which in turn, lets you avoid the relative few situations where you might get into a fight. The actual technique learn is less important because the odds that someone else with any kind of training starting a fight is just as small so any solid technique beats no technique assuming the guy doesn't have 50lbs of muscle on you and can overpower you. The biggest danger in your situation is looking for fights/conflict because you got skills and need to show them off.

You ran a 4.5 what? 40? Because I find that very unlikely, you would likely be in the 10s in your 100M if you ran a 4.5.

It's a high school time, those are infamous for being inflated. One guy at my high school ran a 4.2 for pete's sake (even then I didn't believe it)

Bjj was developed by an aging fighter, so it relies very little on physical strength. Grappling is also far more relevant in any real fighting scenario, and is a heck of a lot more violent than striking since proper holds will break your opponent. It's also much safer, since you're not going to be breaking your hands and won't allow your opponent to really do much to hurt you if you're doing it right.

Of course, nothing is perfect. Just getting used to fighting is a huge benefit.

true, electronically measured 5.2s often become 4.5s when done by hand.

We didn't run 40s at my school, we ran 20s. Electronically timed fastest kid in the school was a 2.4 something, I was typically 2.60-2.70. Hand timed I was consistently around a 2.3.

20s maybe better, though honestly 10s are probably the best as most coaches say that pretty much gives away your 40

i think the sole rationale for us doing 20s was because we had line on the gym floor that was exactly 20m.

Just go to the gym and gain the muscle

You're not short, you can have your pick of any fighting style once you gain the strength

That's bad advice

Okay. I think I came to a conclusion.

I'll do Muay Thai mainly and some boxing and bjj on the side

Does that sound good?

Screw all these generic answers. Learn something cool like ninjitsu or ansatsuken. Only problem is that you might actually kill someone.
