TC, the fuck are you talking about? There's literally no story in this game. Save Hyrule by beating Ganon, there, you now know the entire BotW story.

seriously, this. There's really nothing to spoil. it's cut and dry standard zelda formula in a large open world setting. amazing game though, i need to go back and finish it.

Story isn't the only thing that can be spoiled. Before I got the game, I was disappointed whenever I saw something spoiling features and things you can do in the game. Also, there IS a story, even if it's less rigid than other games and a lot of it is actually backstory.

It's funny that Zelda fans are the only ones I ever see complain about those things being spoilers too. I guess it's because once you play one you basically know the story for the rest

It's common for a lot of games. I see it for Pokemon and Monster Hunter all the time, even some with JRPGs.

And yet even after all that bitching there still isn't a site out there that considers it spoilers. Probably a subreddit, but there's a subreddit for everything. The closest thing to it on this site is trolling, where if you made a topic saying please don't spoil gameplay and all I said was there are gold lynels then that might be moddable. But that's iffy as well imo.

When there's little to no story, I imagine some people would not want to be spoiled on certain gameplay aspects. Like talking about a certain cool level in Mario, or an area or dungeon in a Zelda game. It doesn't matter what the actual definition of spoilers is, that could be considered spoilers for some.
