I find it really hard to remember much about it overall. <_<

Like, for example, I laughed at something one of the characters said after the main story was over but I have no clue what was said/why I laughed. I remember laughing, but that's it. I had totally forgotten what it was about by the next day.

And I feel that way about the entire game. I remember vague things about it but it's so damn generic that nothing sticks out besides the actual glitches/bugs/issues.

I never finished the game, and I wanted to recently but realized I only remember sporadic fragments of the game and none of it was the main story. Wtf even was the story

Tbh, I'm finally playing on the newest patch (never got around to really playing it before then), and I can definitely see a lot of improvement regarding bugs and glitches, even the facial animation stuff is generally a lot nicer than it was back in the first reviews and post-release footage. Overall, I'm actually enjoying the game. Cautiously, but still.

I'm bummed there won't be any DLC. They definitely fucked up in a lot of areas, I had to swear myself off the multiplayer because it was a buggy, laggy piece of crap and that's no exaggeration.

But it is still Mass Effect and I'm sad I don't get to say goodbye to the characters in a proper way. When the credits were rolling for me, there was still the possibility of another two sequels, let alone the obvious DLC potential going by previous BioWare titles. I didn't get enough closure because I didn't think I was at the end yet, not really.

Sucks.

I keep wanting to beat this game because at it's core, I do like it and it's fun to play, but both times I've tried to play it I have fun until I get to Voeld (or however it's spelled) and that's when they drop quest after quest after quest on you, and it's hard to even focus on just the main mission when you get constantly bombarded with "Hey Ryder, do this for me" every person you look at.

I really wish they'd give Mass Effect one more try, with a more focused story and less but higher quality sidequests.

It's pretty similar to the first game really. Just some differences with the rival species and SAM.

It's kinda sad how much was left open for the sequel/DLC that will never happen.

(very minor spoilers below)

It's a very forgettable game. I'm not calling it a bad game, that'd be wrong, but it just recycles the good gameplay of the previous games without being groundbreaking and noteworthy.

I bought the game on launch, played it for a week, completed the storyline and side quests, and then sold the game for ~80% of what I paid for it. My most memorable part of the game is during one of your crew's loyalty missions (I can't even remember his name, the black human) when Ryder and crewmate #1 repeatedly mute the comm channel of the enemy boss between an argument. I couldn't even tell you what the planet names were - I remember Havarl, and someone above said Voeld so I'll nick that.
